Instant Panorama!
I went to an Orioles game last night with some friends, and while I was there I decided to try out an app I had recently installed on my iPhone called Pano. Basically, you take a series of side-by-side shots with the iPhone and Pano stitches them together to form a panoramic image. The whole process only takes a minute or two and the results are actually pretty impressive:

Granted, this is probably not something I would print and hang on my wall… there is a lot of noise and there are a few areas where the stitching didn’t quite line up correctly. But still, I shot this in under 5 minutes without a tripod on my cellphone.
Amazing to see how camera technology continues to evolve and improve. I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of things we’ll be able to do with our cameras in the next 5 to 10 years.
