Polaroid PoGo printer

Just before Christmas, I bought a Polaroid PoGo mobile printer off Amazon.  I had wanted one for a while and the price was really good… good enough that I wouldn’t be too upset if the printer ended up being terrible.

Now that I have had a few days to play with it, I can confidently say that it is well worth the purchase.  The printer is small… about the size of an iPhone, but twice as thick.  It has a rechargeable battery for mobile use and can print images wirelessly (via bluetooth) or by hooking up a camera via USB.

The prints are small (2”x3”), but the quality of those prints is surprisingly good.  Not amazing, but good.  Nice bright colors, good contrast…. maybe a tad grainy, but not so bad as to distract from the image.  The paper is the right aspect ratio for APS-C cameras too, so no cropping is involved for the prints.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.  This will be a lot of fun to play with during family events and such.  If you have any interest in mobile printing, I highly recommend giving the PoGo a try.
